Kroger uses a company called TrendSource to do their secret shops. You can go "bing" them and set yourself up to be a field agent. I actually am one with them but never took any assignments. People who have worked with this company have locked up all of the good assignments so all that is left is going to places like ACE

We REALLY need your help - we have a few shops remaining for an HP Extended Salesforce Mystery shop for THIS WEEKEND ONLY. These shops MUST be completed according to the schedule date on your website (varies by location, some are available for Saturday, some for Sunday, some for both Sat/Sun). The available locations are below. huh. did they really. thats news to me.
They still kind of mystery shop.
I think what they do now is instead of paying a company to do it, they have a higher-up walk through the store with a different checklist.
For example, we got dinged for empty grab-and-gos and for having cashiers lazing at the register instead of standing out front where these weren't concerns before.
