Health COPAY deducted from paycheck?

Anyone with the health insurance know what this means? The last two pay periods, they have been deducting $5.60, listed as "HEALTH COPAY" in addition to the $10.00 for family coverage and the $12.75 union dues. I can't find any other threads on this and have no idea why the additional $5.60.

Copay definition. A copayment - or copay - is the amount you - as an insured person - pay for an expense when you visit a doctor, laboratory, ambulatory care center, hospital, or pharmacy. It's a set amount of money for a certain kind of provider.

Yeah, but they are taking it out of his paycheck. Which I've never seen happen.

I agree, that's pretty strange. I've never heard of a health insurer deducting copays this way.

Plus, I already paid the copay when I went to the doctor. Guess I'll be calling Monday.

My pay stub has a copay deduction ($12) this week. I assume it is for full time benefits which I just started receiving.
