Employee OSAT Surveys
Permalink

So we recently had to take the associate OSAT survey.  Last year my store got dead last in our zone.  So when our managers their butt chewing over this, they told the zone manager we didn't understand the definitions.  Such as we didn't understand what was mean by direct supervisor, management team, etc;.  Well just before we took the stupid surveys this year a big list of definitions was posted  by the time clock.

From what I've been told by other employees they all posted strongly disagree on virtually every question.  Don't get that our managers and zone manager don't get the fact that we think they suck?

Yah...usually one month before surveys come out, store management will be kissing everyone's behind, telling everyone how important it is and having weekly pizza parties. Then as soon as you drop your survey in the box, they will be kicking your behind, telling you that you have to work harder. It is all a bunch of corporate BS. Their bonuses are based on the surveys coming back good, painting a false picture and maintaining the illusion that everything is peachy keen! Don't fall for it, speak your heart, be careful at the end of the survey, don't fill out the info on what dept you're in, cuz they will track you... leave it blank.

the survey this time was a pulse, only certain stores got it.  next year it'll be all stores again.  the pulse didn't ask demographics.

I thought all stores always got it... Well I answered strongly disagree to virtually every question and all that's happened in my store is that it's become UNBEARABLE to work here. You'd think self-worth was banned if you step into my store.

It was every store up until this year. Now they "randomly" select about 1/3 of stores for the pulse survey.

I took mine today.
Lied my ass off.
Figured they won't read or take them seriously anyway.
Also I was at a terminal that was out in the open and anyone, management included, could have walked by.
Didn't feel that comfortable about it in the first place.
I did click the negative ones for 'feel as if my store management is doing the best they can' or whatever.

I was able to take the survey too, they made sure everyone in my store took it.

At least I took it in the HR's office so it was private. I hit a little of the bad buttons >:D

Yes, we had it, and yes, we got the sermon beforehand on how great Kroger is, and how we're loved by all, and how we all have huge opportunities in the company, and the economy sucks..... yadda...... yadda..... yadda..... didn't influence my survey one bit.

OOOHHH..... I just remembered something else: last year a question similar to "My pay is good comparable to a similar job elsewhere" was on there. Not this time. Gee, I wonder why.

I remember a question like "If a similar job were offered by another employer, would you take it?" Needless to say I put a bigass checkmark on the STRONGLY agree box.

I don't remember the question about if department heads are promoted fairly being on there this time either. Huh, how surprising.

I couldn't care less about their stupid, pointless surveys; waste of my time. Just another f***ing number for them to chase.
