I put my new availability in about a month ago and its still pending. The availability is supposed to start next week and i'm just worried. I'm starting college so I won't be available everyday like I am now.

Tell your department manager your new availability. FE aside, almost no department manager checks the eschedule requests.

If it's supposed to start next week, they won't process the request until they go to write the schedule, which could be wed or thurs.

I never check the pending requests when I write a schedule.  I just override everything.  Lol.

Good god, man, there are at least a dozen threads on here where ppl have complained about mgmt doing that. It's not something to be proud of.

I wonder how many sick calls have been received just so employees can have been received just so they can have their NEEDED/UNAVAILABLE time off when this guy/girl writes the schedule. I'd be one of those who calls out on occasion.
