Zero hours for two weeks?

Hey everybody!

Okay I just starated working in the produce departnent two weeks ago. I came in & did the computer training then I trained on the floor for the rest of the week. It was around 30 hours. Then this week comes around & I have no hours scheduled. Today I looked at the schedule for NEXT week & again, no hours. What is going on?

Just ask a manager, your department head, or AA. Nobody on here would know.

Que-Vision and e-Schedule were dating, but Que-Vision decided that it wanted to see other computer programs, so it broke up with e-Schedule, and now e-Schedule is on a bit of an emotional roller coaster and being comforted by CAO (who is actually gay but e-Schedule doesn't know it yet...). As a result, e-Schedule isn't really paying attention to what is going on internally. You'll be fine, I'm sure.

What's your availability? Since you're new, they want you to work closing shifts and weekends mainly. If you thought you could get a bunch of morning shifts then sorry.

Que-Vision and e-Schedule never agree on anything. That's why they broke up. Que-Vision wanted a cashier at every register 24/7, but eSchedule thought that it was idiotic to schedule more than 4 cashiers for a million dollar store on a Sunday church rush.

Did you actually say something to your dept head? Because, as a new hire, you probably didn't get set up in our scheduling program right, but they'd only know to fix it if you said something.

Yup, that makes sense.  One person hires a body and the department manager isn't told.  Call the store and speak to whomever hired you.

Our Utility clerk gets forgotten from the eschedule and the manager gives him hours.
