Today our Seafood Captain did her usual pawn a customer off to someone else and that someone was me. I walked into "hey hey whats a good rub for pork ribs "this" customer would like to know" As soon as I start thinking for a couple seconds the customer says oh never mind. I say to the so called captain you need to just take him and show him and say oh this one looks good.......she says "I don't have time to do that"................and I lost it. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO HELP A CUSTOMER!!!!!! and Are you serious right now; and say some other things to her. And later she say boohoo you didn't have to act like that and I'm going to tell.........and I give it to her more in the back room and say go ahead and dig your own grave with management. I'm just going to stay away from her if she works tomorrow but it bullcrap like this, that will ruin a whole day.
Seafood captain is SUPPOSED to be the MOST knowledgable in seafood. Rather than pass off HER customer to someone else she's SUPPOSED to help out said customer. It DOES NOT matter if she doesn't "have time." Don't have time? TO FREAKING BAD!! STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND HELP THE CUSTOMER. no one gives a **** if you are busy. That's what I'd LOVE to say to a "lazy" employee that "cannot" (WILL NOT) help a customer.
