I was interviewed at Fred meyer on Monday. Interview went well and i took the drug test and said they'll do a background check. How long it would take for my background check to be back at Fred meyer, my personal records are clean and i dont smoke or do drugs. Tomorrow will be Monday,almost a week after my interview. I am a filipina and was born and raised in the Philippines. Is it maybe because my records are overseas thats why it taking so long? I had 1 year retail experience at value village. Any ideas?

Anyway. They only do background checks based on what ID you provided them (most likely a state ID?). Call the store that you were interviewed in and see what they have to say. Perhaps it's the drug part of the check. You may be clean, but it's up to the lab on when they actually process it.
But yeah, just call. And don't mind that skeh person. He's just some random sand****** from the land of poachers.
I would expect something by the middle of the week. They also like to hire a bunch of people together, so you maybe waiting on other people back ground plus the hiring person handles everything and nothing will happen on their days off. They like to get their holiday help hired now.
