You "assume"? Dude, if you're not directly involved, and there's no legal action (which isn't what I assume you meant by "charges"), there's no grievance. Especially if you've already quit.

Oh, I had the Union involved, and they told me of illegal activities that this particular manager had done and was in the process of doing....the reason I quit was because she had threatened my safety in the store.

For filing/paycheck reasons - you are left on the schedule for several weeks/months after quitting, but are marked as "LOA" (Leave of Absence) or "Unavailable" due to the chance that you may return or get rehired.

Dont know your entire situation but I would ask the store steward if there is grounds for a grievance and I would also consult an attorney that deal with this sort of thing on a contigency basis to see where you really stand.....if you have grounds and legal cause.....give em hell.

Funny thing -- I WAS the store steward -- they are trying to keep the Union out of the store, and I was reporting them DAILY on all they were doing. I'm grieving it ALL THE WAY!!
