You should probably ask someone in your store. There are different models of time clocks used, but mine works like this:
-F1 (ring)
-Arrow to desired function (shift, break, lunch), enter (green button)
-Enter clock #, enter
-Put enrolled finger on reader
-Clock (should) accept your punch
We're transitioning between the two now. The first one should be a big grey time clock that sends data directly to Cincinnati, and the second should be a small one.

Lol. I can imagine a little elf in an ivory tower calling up various managers to alert them of employees clocking in one minute late.

Actually, I wouldn't doubt if they create an automated program that sends out e-mails to managers on specific clock ring incidents(continually being late, break & lunch clocks etc) After all, the world is going to full automation anyway.

No need. There's already a report in Kronos that shows all that.

Only on the new clocks? My store is still using the old and I never seem to hear anything about management knowing anything about habitual offenders unless we say something to them.

Kronos and the time clocks are 2 separate things. This report just sorts and collates data on late punches and makes it presentable.

It's true. A few kids in produce got written up for taking the infamous 21 minute breaks. Management didn't even know who they were until Kronos told them. XD
