Lol... Oh lawdy, they're the worst.

That weird staccato method that they use to get people's attention over the intercom... and to boot, they really take themselves seriously. A few of those gypsies were having some kind of huddle near the bailer talking all serious about their market strategies and numbers last time they were at my store, and I gleefully pushed past them, loaded up by cardboard and fired that baby up. My little victory. I'm sure the noise drowned out whatever babble they were going on about.

We just had what had to be the sheerly most fkin ANNOYING scuz ball side show barker vendor in my store last week; he was giving away trinkets while marketing some useless POS fruit corer or what ever. Every twenty minutes he would get on the inter com and B L A S T OUT this two minute long 'come one, come all' cattle call.

And the worst part? He would routinely draw ONE HUNDRED moron customers all around him.....simply because they heard the word 'FREE'.

I asked them one time if they just hit up our stores when they weren't at the flea market.

It flew right over them.. I guess they just go to grocery stores.

One time we had the free announcers and she was doing at 10:45pm and we close at 11. Our fes cut her off with the emergency page twice. So many people started doing that, management went around and threatened people with write ups.

The worst are wine demo people, they don't know where their wine is and want someone to find it for them.

I didn't mind our sample people, I like free samples as much as the next person...until we got one old guy who likes to manhandle me. Listen old guy, I don't like being touched and I don't like being hit on and your wife works in the sample cart neighboring yours, so knock it off.

G#$ Dammit, if it's not the outside demo people, it's the ones we have in the store that were booted from other departments that they couldn't make into baggers.
They just linger around, clog up traffic, and will even give you a sales pitch even if you work there. FFS, people... I'm working.

Wow! They are the same way at my store. I work nights so I don't have to deal with them too often. But, when I do, they are always in the way.

I don't mind the food sample lady. Here it's this older lady who's really nice and sometimes has given us her leftovers when she's done for the day.

It's those people who are annoying. No one wants your stupid fruit corer or whatever the heck it is. I always thought that thing was a recording, since they talk in the same way every single time but nope it's someone actually doing it live.

In my store there has been one lady that has been ok meaning she does what she needs without bother us much. Yet, there have been others who just pester the CRAP out of you almost to the point of demanding. The ask meaning BOTHER you by asking things like....

"Can you help me find my display table?"
"I need this for my display where can i find it"
"Can you get another bottle ( of some product) i cant leave my display"

Oh and those people plugging some new product that isnt in store yet, those guys are "interesting!!" One girl couldnt even say her pitch right without messing up....

"Attention shoppers.....uhhhh......today we are showing a new item......uhhh...that is not in stores yet....uhhhhh......."

even funnier to see them "pep" the people to get them exicited about the product.

The part bolded by me is what gets me, I guess. I know I shouldn't be so harsh, and it's a petty complaint in the big picture, but dang... You can be accommodating and try to help them get set up, but some of these people are just hapless/helpless.
