Depends on where you live. Here in the Cincy/Dayton division, you get holiday pay right away.

Same in my division. You get about 4 hours of non-worked pay and then time and a half if you actually work the holiday.

But in my division, unless you were hired in the 90's at the latest, you get nothing for any holiday. OP, you need to ask around in your store, as this obviously varies widely.

In my local it's like after 6 months or 9 months or a year or something that you get holiday pay.

Are you local 1000?  If so you get holiday pay if you work any of the holiday week.  Under 12 hours - 2 hours, 12 - 24 hours - 4 hours, 24 - 32 hours - 6 hours, and 32 and over gets 8 hours.  After 2 years you get 50 cents extra per hour if you work on the holiday.

To get holiday pay, you have to work your whole scheduled week. If you are working on the day itself you get time and a half, if you aren't working you get the 4 hours holiday pay as an extra day of pay.

No. I'm pretty sure that's just a normal day just about everywhere...

Not unless you're working overnight and your shift actually falls on christmas day.

I got no holiday pay for working Thanksgiving eve or Thanksgiving Day.
Doubt I will get any for working Christmas Eve.

Ah, good point, but do any stores actually schedule any shifts like that?

Depends on the store manager.    With our current one,  he's allowed us to cancel our Wednesday trucks so that we could all have off christmas eve/day and we wouldn't even have to worry about it.    But we've had ones before that wanted night crew to be there at 4pm so that our shift ended at midnight so no extra pay would have to be given.     And some just allowed regular shifts and didn't care about giving the holiday pay.
