Night Premium?

Hey everyone. I was wondering what hours and how much the night premium bonus is? Like, what time does it start counting at? 10PM? 11PM?

I work in the Atlanta division. I've been with Kroger for over a year, but ive never worked past 10PM. Thanksgiving week im scheduled to work until 11, i was wondering if ill get the extra pay?

Where I am at in Central local 700 its 45 cents per hour between 10 pm or store closing time which ever is sooner and that goes till 6am..... So I would just ask someone or look in your union contract book...

Yeah it varies by pretty much every single contract.

If you're not scheduled as a night clerk, I highly doubt you get the premium. I've worked plenty of times til midnight and got nothing extra, even though night grocery gets an extra 50 cents starting at 10 PM.

In my contract it's from midnight to 6 am. It doesn't depend on your position either. I worked on overnight grocery and dairy and have worked overnight in both positions (only occasionally on dairy) and have gotten the premium each time.

When I worked overnight it was when we were under Atlanta, now we're mid-south/nashville. I used to work a 9pm to 5:30am tags shift, and I got 50 cents extra for midnight to 5, but when I worked overnight uscan (11 to 7:30), I got it for the whole 8 hours. and I'm sorry, they had me cover the regular person's vacation and yes, a whole week comes to 20 extra dollars but by god my sanity was worth more than that so I don't do it anymore

In local 75, any hours worked between 10pm and 6am are rated at the 50 cent night premium. My department closes at 9, but we closed at 10 for a while. If we stayed over past 10, you'd get the night premium rate for that whole 15 minutes.
