My dept head and one of our co-managers want me to be our meat dept backup when our manager is on vacation next week. I know how to cut and how to order but thats the extent of my know-how. We have a key-retailing check coming monday. I'm stressing over this. I've said many times I don't think I'm ready but they're not taking no for an answer. Advice?
You'll do fine. They wouldn't have asked you if they didn't think you could handle it. You should get back up pay for covering I believe. Just bug the co-managers if you have any questions that's there job, its all good.
