Lately our store hasn't been ordering cigarettes. We are always out. I went to get some coffee and cigarettes this morning and of course they were out again. I took the customer survey so I could get my 50 bonus fuel points. I said as long as I was going to have to go to another store for cigs I might as well shop at another store, and thanks for the fuel points so I could get some cheap gas to get there LOL!!!
Then I called Kroger and told them to put my husband's senior discount back on my card since I quit. She said she couldn't take my employee discount off yet, but she added my husband's senior discount to my card. Ok. I'll take the double discount. That happened when I first started working for Kroger. I had the senior discount and they added the employee discount so I got both until the senior discount dropped off.
Oh, how nice! I hate when old people who haven't shopped in a while come in on Senior day and get butthurt when i tell them that their discount had expired and that they would need to go to the service desk.
So, annoying and needlessly aggravating.

Never get cigarettes at the supermarket. Unless they're marked down or something.
For my brand they are actually cheaper at Kroger. I get the 3 pack special and get $1 off. So it works for me. Mine are 5.31 a pack at Kroger before the discount, $5.64 at the gas station across the street.

You are so jealous butthurt and oblivious to the whole thing. Anyone else would leave these forums and stay away from the place if you hate it so much but you always find a reason to come back. It is sad..

Jealous? Of what?
And at our store, senior discounts don't expire. If you're a senior, you don't really get any younger so the discount still applies. Don't know why your store has an expiration date on it.
As far as me still posting here, you can skip my posts if it bothers you, I don't mind. I'm not the only one on here that doesn't work for Kroger anymore.

We don't have senior day at our store, it's a 10% discount on Kroger products everyday, all the time. Not all Kroger stores are the same. Same as unions.

Wish I didn't.
I have $8 until Thursday. Hoping the numbers on the paycheck coming up will help.
