I'm going to be mad if my store ever does that, I love the cheap 3.99 a pound Heritage Farms turkey.
I'm kinda glad they got rid of some of that stuff. It was not fun having a whole ham slip out of my hands because of how slimy/watery it was.
It's been a mixed reaction here; some love Boar's Head, and was excited to not have to go a half hour away to another Kroger to get it; some said "no thanks", and others warmed up to it, namely the ones who come for the Kowalski garlic bologna. As someone who doesn't eat bologna, I have no idea what the deal is and why it was so popular.
Me personally, I don't care as long as it tastes good. I've run into more BH products that I'd eat (as long as it's not overly spicy) than PS products (I usually just eat the honey turkey).
It ain't easy to be approved to sell BH products though. It took like 7 years for our store to get it I heard.
