Have you ever wondered how a forum like this gets started? I mean surely it didn't just appear on its own with 5000 unique users already sharing stories about the hell known as Kroger. Who was the originator of our beloved forum(our very own Kirk Unit)? How long was his seemingly endless wait for a response to his first furtive post? Did he start posting his own responses(perhaps quoting himself) just to see if the forum was working? Did he begin to consider that perhaps he was the only employee dissatisfied with his working conditions as the days, weeks, months slowly passed? I don't anyone of us who now enjoy this forum can truly imagine the joy the Kirk Unit felt when he saw that first anonymous post appear. "Oh thank you, thank you." He posted thru tears of joy! "I finally have to turn to when I feel I can no longer work under the slave labor conditions that is The Kroger Company!!!" And the rest as they say is history.
