Yes. There are certain weeks of the year that are blacked out for no vacations allowed.
Either change your vacation plans now. Or, try to ask a store manager directly if you can take that week off. Depends on how your store manager is. They might ok it if you already have plane/cruise tickets bought.
If they refuse and you absolutely need that week off, start looking for another job... You could try calling in sick but they will already know where you are if you asked the manager directly.
When does one get vacation? I'm only a poor part timer but I have been there for almost 14 months now.

Newer employees might have to work a certain number of hours before they get a vacation. Generally, 1 week after working there 1 year. I did a quick glance at our union handbook and do not think CCs are excluded.
You get paid your average hours over the last 52 weeks.

This is only the middle of April and you've already used up your vacation time for the year? I'm afraid if it's not an official vacation that you marked down and had approved on the official vacation calendar, then you're probably out of luck. Do you have any personal days you could use during that week?
At some point in your life you have to stop being a slave to THE MAN and do what you want to do. Take that week off with out any hesitation and if they got a problem with it then its obviously not a good place to work.

If you already used up your vacation weeks for the year in April, that's your problem. If it was planned why didn't you plan to use your vacation? Seriously, people...

Why do you think that just because it's an unpaid "vacation" you can just take off like that? I wouldn't mind taking an extra week off without pay too but I'm more responsible than that.
