This is just a rant/rave post; There's this woman who works accounting and front end (She does mostly anything front end and accounting) and she's just a d*ck. She's the kind of person who loudly tells you that your card declined or your check didn't go through on purpose just to piss you off.
Numerous times customers and other coworkers have commented how she doesn't really do her job and is constantly talking to people on the phone or talking to other workers and completely ignoring the customers.
Well, the other day we got a new manager who is finishing up her training and will be starting at our store soon. She was at front end grabbing paperwork and noticed that the girl wasn't doing anything except talking and complaining so the manager said: "Why don't you stop talking and get your work done? You keep complaining that you don't have enough time but I've seen you sit here and do nothing but talk since I came in."
That was the best moment ever. The woman got a crappy look on her face and mumbled that she was asking someone a question (Which she wasn't.) This new manager is one step below the store manager, too. Glad to see someone who isn't going to take any crap from horrible coworkers like this woman!
The new managers actually try to get things done and show the slackers what for. The more they go along the more complacent they get in their ways and slack off.
It's just how it is. Enjoy it while it lasts :)

Yeah ain't that the truth. But since I work in the Fuel Center I really never have to deal with any of the higher up managers.. So, it's a blessing for me but it'll be hell for the annoying woman who never does crap!
