"District 1" is pretty ambiguous; there are several. Regardless, the company has been having some widespread network issues the last several days, so there's little to nothing we here can do.

Go talk to the store manager of the store you're applying to if the computer is down. That's how you got a job in the olden days.

All they'll do is tell OP to go online.

Maybe. Or maybe they'll notice OP is friendly and well-groomed and just set up an interview with the HR manager. I'd take those odds over waiting for the site to work again, because a lot of people will be applying for summer jobs here soon.

Not sure about other places but central division no longer accepts apps on kroger.com. It's all done through Indy, just not sure of the new website

What I'm saying is that wherever OP is applying is possibly one of the ones that uses this new website, and in which there is no option to do an in-person interview. If your division hasn't rolled out this new company doing the hiring, they will be.
