Is unavailability like time requested, as in its just a request or what? I've had certain hours set as unavailable for awhile now because I can't work them but this week I was scheduled during those hours, what happens if I leave early?
As always, you should ask your supervisor. I know mine sometimes goes an hour over what I have available, but it's just to use all the hours she needs to schedule.
It will occasionally happen if they need to fill a certain time period and they don't have anyone else. I've scheduled an hour or two earlier than my availability, and if it's bad enough that I just can't work it, I talk to my manager and we get that last couple hours covered out for me. It's not so much that they're trying to ignore your availability, but usually it's because they don't have much in the way of coverage and think you'll be willing to do it.
If you can't, let them know so they can reschedule the shift. The earlier the better.
Check with your supervisor. It could be one of 2 things. It could be an error, or it could be they may actually need you. If anything you could re input those unavailable days off. But check first. Otherwise you may be in trouble if you leabe early from work. This happened to me once or twice. They changed my availability ( I'm ALWAYS unavailable for the weekend) and had me work to cover a shift. Couldn't do a thing about it, but they gave me my weekends back when I covered that shift for that week

I guess I'll ask. Doubt it is a mistake, my manger has been saying he has an issue with my availability but as a single parent who needs to pick up their kid I don't see why my manger has done this other than the fact they are annoyed with me.

Just realize that once you go in they may not let you leave. Especially if you are on the register. They won't care, especially if they don't have anyone and that's why they schedule you.
You're probably better off just calling in and telling them that you are unable to go the shift due to a previous scheduling conflict that you have in the system and can't get out of. I've had to do it multiple times myself.

You can't be forced to work during unavailable hours. If you honestly can't work those hours, just let them know. They may not be happy with it, but you need to stand up for yourself if you're being taken advantage of. My CSM scheduled me during one of my unavailable days before. I explained to her that I couldn't, and she got really mad about it, but too bad. Unavailable means unavailable and they can't override that.
