Last night was my last day at Kroger.  Not gonna lie, it was a bittersweet thing, as most of my co-workers were awesome.  However, coupled with my own personal reasons and Kroger's business practices, it wasn't going to work out anyways.

As for my time on this site...well, some of yall are entertaining to read (although I miss FES, but I'm sure he's on to more awesome times at Home Depot), so I'll stick around for the trainwreck comic relief.

Ha! I retired over a year ago and I still pop in to read posts from time to time. Although I miss certain aspects of the job, like the people I grew fond of, seeing that the noose keeps on getting tighter reminds me that I made the right decision.

I left six months ago, and I still have some fondness for my store. The people mostly. We were overworked and underpaid, but conquered anyway.
