I started at Kroger over a week ago and am interested in knowing who to go to for information on my job. My first day I was paired with a lady who had only been there two months but wasn't sure how to use the hand scanner for back stock or creating labels (for untagged merchandise). Long story short I spent the night conditioning (there wasn't much to do), and felt like I was on my own. Whenever I had a question the the lady I was left with didn't really know how to help, and the "manager" was nowhere be found. What should I do?
It sounds like you're working the night shift? Try coming in during the morning hours 7am - 9 am. The store shouldn't be too busy (but then it is 4th July weekend so who knows) and see if you can get a few seconds with your manager.

Wouldn't that be considered working off the clock? I wouldn't go out of my way to come in early. When I worked Drug/GM I had to go to other departments and ask their employees to borrow their RF, show me how to make signs, etc. My manager was never around and when she was she didn't explain things very well. Have you set up your password for the RF yet?
