I am working 6 days this week, and the holiday falls on Saturday, which is my 6th day for the week. Since the holiday falls on my 6th day, do I get my overtime for my hours over 40, plus holiday OT, plus my 8 hours? I am in the Cincinnati area. Thanks for any input. My work week is Sunday - Saturday.
I could be wrong, but I'm assuming all contracts are the same in this regard, but it's no additional pay for working OT on a holiday. Just your straight OT rate.
I forgot, we also get 4 to 6 hours holiday pay in addition to the 50 cent premium. (This goes by whether you are part time, full time, how many hours you work average)
I'm here in the Columbus are. We only get paid holiday pay for the holiday plus time and a half for working the holiday. Here we do not get sixth day pay for working 6 days during a holiday week. That is why every full time employee is scheduled 6 days this week at my store since they don't have to pay us sixth day pay on top of that.
