Have you ever had crazy shoplifter/stealing customers?
We always had this one man find other peoples receipts and always try to return an item on it (he would just take from the shelf). Some of the idiots would allow the return but most of the smarter ones would deny but management would never do anything about it until they had proof. apparently they dont feel like looking at their cameras.. Some of the receipts are from different stores, all messed up etc. Personally if a customer forgets their receipt I always tear them up ESPECIALLY at self check out

They always ask me to scan high price items for movement. If no movement, no return. We are a very high theft store though.
I can't keep cosmetics hardly in stock, cheap medicines, body wash. Surprisingly, I have literally 0 theft in baby formula

I think all stores have high theft in Drug/GM.  I used to hate to condition the make up aisle.

We have people get stuff from the deli and then eat it and hide the empty containers on the shelves. If you're going to do that you could at least throw the container away, but they're so nasty they can't even do that.

One of the highest theft items at our store has to be 5 hour energy things. I find those empty boxes everywhere.

You know those 4 packs of little wine bottles?  I always had to check the bottles before I scanned them to make sure all 4 were full.  no

So this gal comes in last night, she is up and down 2 gm aisles, however, there were lots of associates last night due to heavy tags, inventory, and scan audits. She puts a fee drug/gm items in her cart goes up to the u scan guy and says she's only got 1.00 on her food stamp card so would it be ok if she just took the items in her cart...WTF?????

OMG, hey, is it ok if I steal this stuff?  LOL!  You can't buy drug/gm items with food stamps anyway.

We had a woman go ask the Uscan person where milk was (which is about a 30 second walk from the Uscan spot), made the Uscan person walk all of the way there with her (she still couldn't find it), and then when they got out of eyesight, her husband pushed out a cart that had all of the energy drinks and 5 hour energies we had in the store.  IIRC it was over $500 worth of stuff.  I'm almost impressed.

Now they make the Uscan person either find someone else to show people to stuff, or call someone else to watch the door.
