I have been working at my Kroger for over a year now, when I first started off I loved going to work loved doing my thing. but as the year progressed and I got to meet and know everyone I began to see the true colors of working at Kroger. The managers first off are horrible , as well as the supervisors they do nothing for there employees or tend to notice their hard work and effort. One supervisor had her daughter in law transfer to work with her knowing she can get away with anything but yet the other cashiers and baggers get in trouble by her? but yet her daughter doesn't . Kroger is really a unfair place to work at , the baggers are lazy and tend not to go out and get carts and never get in trouble for it but somehow I always had but yet I was the one who put in work , and actually get carts on my lot duty time. the cashiers kill you , if your a bagger I always end up being the only bagger left at night and through the mid afternoon with like 5 cashiers they always tend to yell at you and ask you unpolitely to go and bag for them. if I end up not bagging for them because I'm busy trying to bag for someone else being the only bagger they get mad and irrated and snitching on management that they get no help . I got written up for simply telling a customer that I would scan her water ???! it wasn't scanning so I was getting irrated and picked it up and scanned it and said there I got it . but apparently I was rude to her ? I would not recommed Kroger to anyone looking for a part-time job. the pay is horrible, I mean really a 10 cent raise every 6 months ? what is that going to do being start off at 7.30 ? also they don't care if there's a heat advisory outside or heat wave you still have to go out there for the full 30 minutes on lot . when it's suppose to be 15 minutes if extreme weather over all horrible experience at Kroger .
