Is it mandatory that I take the Pharmacy Tech Exam and obtain my certification in Kentucky?
It seems like I read somewhere online that I had one year to obtain my certification, and if I don't pass, I will be demoted to another job in the store?
Well, on the off chance there is someone who is a pharmacy tech in Kentucky on here, you may get an answer. What did Kroger in Kentucky tell you? I'd ask them.
It is not mandatory but it would be to your benefit to take it. Kroger will pay for the test and you will get a $.75 an hour raise when you pass with another $.25 after another period. Who doesn't want to make a extra $1.00 per hour?

Take the test, let Kroger pay, get the raise then put that on your resume and find a better job!!!!
