E-schedule and schedule changes
Permalink

Schedules are posted on Friday.

E-Schedule gets posted on Saturday.

The schedule can be changed so long as it's before Saturday noon, right?

Does the E-Schedule reflect any changes made? Like say they've changed it, and written it on the posted schedule... would that show up on the E-Schedule one then?

I ask because, I'm supposed to go in 6pm-12am... That's what's on my E-Schedule. I never got to look at the paper schedule posted Friday because I was off both Friday and Saturday... And when my friend went shopping, she said the cashier told her I'm supposed to come relieve her at 4pm. Implying I had 4pm to 10pm.

Not 6pm-12am.

Am I supposed to go in on a day off, if I'm off on a Friday and Saturday, to see if any changes have been made?

That hardly seems fair...

Now I don't know if I should go in at 4pm or 6pm. And if it's 4pm I'm screwed because all my clothes are in the washer, and I need a shower... and it's 10 minutes till' 3pm >:I

I'd go in at 6 if I were you. In a normal job, the manager will call an employee to let him know if the schedule changed. I would not waste my gas to drive to Kroger on an off day to check "for any changes." It's even less important since you are just cashiering. If you worked in a little department like dairy or nutrition, then it would be harder to go 2 hours without you.

The eschedule released online Friday doesn't reflect any changes on the printed schedule which is why the printed schedule posted in the store is the "final" version.

We can go into Kronos and adjust your schedule so you can clock in/out but that's separate and won't be reflected in your online schedule.  We have people who call the store for their next shift just in case.

Lol.  I didn't realize they could do this and almost didn't show up for my shift at the right time the other day.  They changed the in store schedule after the online one had posted without notifying me.  I would've appreciated a voicemail or freaking SOMETHING.  No...I just happened to be bored during my break and was looking at the schedule for the next day when I realized my shift had been changed and it had been initialed with an approval.

OK THEN, KROGER

Granted, this was a special circumstance that I could have possibly seen coming, but holy cow!!  WHY is it a thing that they can just CHANGE YOUR SHIFT WITHOUT EVEN NOTIFYING YOU???  I guess they can do it until up to several hours after it has been posted online at my store.
