Does anyone know who is singing Someone Like You on the Kroger playlist?  Not the Adele version.  It's a guy singing it...

Is it the David Nail version? I've heard it too and never knew who it was.

Yes, it is the David Nail version...Sounds exactly like him...Van Morrison's song is different...This "Someone Like You" (the Adele song) was co-written by Dan Wilson of Semisonic (You've heard their song "Closing Time" on Kroger radio, right?), so I thought it was Dan's own version at first.

I'll give you one more earworm...Joel Mercado sings a song called "Superman's Outta Town" that they play incessantly at my store..."Who's gonna save you when Superman's outta town...Who's gonna save you when I'm not around..."

I often think about that line on my days off...

At least I appreciate the 80's stuff they've been playing recently at my store...I've heard The Clash ("London Calling"), The Cure ("In Between Dreams"), and Echo & The Bunnymen ("Lips Like Sugar") recently, so it's not ALL bad...
