Eschedule blows
Permalink

Hi all,

So I recently got my schedule, and I just shook my head. Almost every week, my availability is entirely ignored to the point where I'm just thinking of leaving 30 minutes/an hour early. They continuously schedule me during classes, and this process has gone on for at least 4-5 weeks. I've talked to the Managers about this, and there's still no resolution. I'm in the Dairy department at my store, and I've specified on my Eschedule Availability that I can't work past 8 at night. I have a kid to take care of.

What should I do? This is really starting to aggravate me.

If i'm scheduled outside my availability I normally just call off, come in late, or leave early. So unless you voluntarily stay or live in one of those states where Kroger owns your soul they can't force you to work outside the approved availability.

Be sure to tell someone when you notice a discrepancy. Eventually they will get the idea.... hopefully.

Two things..

In Esched, your personal profile might not have availability filled out correctly. It needs to be entered... however, this usually isn't the case. They probably hit 24 hours or put in 12p-12a or something if they wanted you on nights or what have you. Usually a culprit.

Otherwise.. they're overriding what is in the system... which is a simple click.

Just ask them which it is.
