Hey, i am a new courtesy clerk at kroger recently got hired. I have finished my orientation and computer training and was assigned to go to my kroger store the following day. I went and got to meet the manager and a few workers. My manager asked me what are my availabilities for this coming up week. I told her and she said thank you come back on friday to check your new schedule. I come back on friday and find myself working hours i didnt tell them but only for 3 days a week. Today I'm going to work from 2-10pm and I have no idea what to do. Do i hop straight into bagging or do i go ask for help. Do i ask for manager? I don't know what to do and I'm very nervous. Can someone give me any advice?
Go to the Service desk. Tell them this is your first day. Ask them if you should clock in. Probably not in kronos yet so you will be writing your hours in the correction book.
They should partner you with someone to show you the ropes for a few hours atleast. Other than that, you will be fine.
