We have signs posted at store 928 in Bloomington that they will be seeking a 2 week in advance schedule in Jan of next year. Does this mean that bi weekly pay is inevitable? That's the current rumor mill atm.
It means if you need to ask for a day off, you need to have the request in by the Sunday three weeks before you need off.
Example: If you need off Friday, January 1, 2016 you would need to have the request in no later than Sunday, December 13th. The schedule that gets posted on that Friday (Dec. 18th) will be the one for the last week of December going into January.
But the 2 week notice sucks when you need to take a day off for next week for doctors appointment and they b:tch at you I get that one all the time because I have medical issues.
Call in on the day you have to go to the doctor if they don't approve your request. Then show up for work late or the next day and give them your doctor's note. Nothing they can do, you tried to warn them ahead of time.
