So I'm guessing your black and a male? If you want promoted work for it. The company has a a lot to offer you just need to put in the work. I started as a bagger when I was 15 and now I'm in charge of my own department, and I'm only 23.
Race has nothing to do with anything, i'm tired of people using that as an excuse on both ends. Yeah i'm sure in some places there are favorites chosen based on race but overall just prove that you can do it instead of complaining.
I live in a 99% white community and one of the greatest people i've gotten to know working at Kroger is black. I love that girl to death. On the other hand, one of the biggest offenders of the whole "sleep your way to the top" game is white. So racism is kinda stupid.
