As a cashier, you will not be using CAO(Computer Assisted Ordering) unless you are working doing tags or in one of the other departments.

It is something you learn by doing as you go.  If you have specific functions you would like to know, I can help with those.

If you search this site, there are a few posts explaining the functions for CAO.

Actually cashiers need to take CAO training because they are clerks. Also, they need to learn how CAO works so they understand to scan items one by one.

Can you go into detail about that?  What difference does it make if I use the quantity button or not?  I've been told it causes problems, but no specifics.
