So, I go into work on Monday at my store, based on the wall schedule. I try to clock in, tells me I'm not scheduled. So, I get an override. Curious, when I get home I look at the eschedule and see the whole week is blanl. Even more curious now, when I go into today, I ask the manager about it. He very nonchalantly tells me that the schedule the district got (in the computer) is a phony schedule to make it look like the store is giving less hours than it actually is, and they plan to 'use increased sales numbers' to mask the pay. Something about this smells very, very wrong...am I just being paranoid? Is this normal?

I would call the corporate office and ask them about it. Tell them it's an inconvenience to you to not have a complete and honest schedule.
he does that they might cut store hours for real after all the point is to make it look like they are obeying corporate by giving as few hours as possible but instead
there giving the empleys more hours then there supposed to even if its just to help themselves
