Does anyone else have a comanager as petty as i do???

I have a comanager who hasn't said anything to my face at all but i can tell he's holding a grudge because i'm friends with someone, a former employee who's now at another store (a department head) who he also disliked. When she worked in my store we became good friends and we have stayed in contact. I think he doesn't like her because she was one of the people who suspected he had a "thing" going on with another employee.

i'm certainly not going to stop being friends with someone just because he thinks it's the "uncool" thing to do. lots of people in that store loved her and it seems like this guy, who by the way is barely even old enough to be a comanager, he's like the same age as me, is just getting an attitude because he wants to make a name for himself as a manager. what's it any of his business who i talk to outside of work?

Welcome to Kroger, where it's Days of Our Lives every day except somewhere in the store a jug of 2% milk is going sour because it's sitting next to perishable items.

He sounds immature.  Give him time, one of the other managers will knock him down a notch or two.

You could always lay him out right there on the sales floor in front of THE manager. Just say he tried to grabbed your ****.

Oh yeah he's definitely immature as f**k. He's constantly gossiping and talking crap about employees.

He hates everyone and talks about them behind their back but acts like he's so positive and just tries to put on this nice guy act. no

I actually wouldn't be surprised if he hates my friend so much because he felt like she turned him down. hmm

Get together with as many employees as you can and complain to management about his gossiping and attitude.  You have to have other employees though, one person isn't going to make a difference.  He certainly isn't acting like a manger, that is just childish and immature and not professional at all.  GANG UP ON HIM LOL LOL!!!

The funny part is, when I worked there, they actually had Days of Our Lives going in the lunch room!
