So which bathroom is it, any way?

Between reading the title and clicking down here, you probably figured out where this is headed. Yep. I'm transgender, a lady-boy, a chick with a dick, I've heard em all, go on and think what you can't say.

But my question is, I just hired on with Kroger, and the rules are still very much in the air about the TG bath room policies. It would normally not be a problem, but until my hormone replacement kicks in full throttle my beard growth is too dense for me to 100% hide this.....and I'm tired of hiding any way.

So: think I should just continue going to Kroger's lady's room? Thanks blankstare

Good question.

I don't care which restroom you use.

Most new stores have same sex bathrooms that can be occupied and locked by one person at a time.  Except for the time I saw two CCs go in together. :(

Might be better to ask someone from corporate HR what the best option is for you.

If it's a multiple stall bathroom, I would use a guys bathroom until your hormone replacements kick in. I don't know if your having the full change to a woman or not, that's your business. But I would use men's for now. This way it will keep you from being harassed at work for your gender choice. I have a few transgender friends and that's what they did to keep from
Being picked on and harassed until their changeover was complete.

You can, however use the women's restroom if it's single person, and single person only use at a time.
Ask your manager just to be safe. Good luck

Unless you've had "the operation", you're just  a guy or a gal playing dress-up.  Use the restroom corresponding to the sex you were born as.

There should be a sign up Vagina's on the right Penis's on the left. If you still can't figure it out then you have more problems than a squirrel on an 8 lane highway.

I'm pretty sure if you're using the employee restrooms in the back of the store no one's going to give a crap either way. if i have to go to the bathroom and the womens one in the back would be closed, i'd just go in the men's room and i really don't think anyone would care.

Original writer here.

To those who were helpful in their responses, I thank you. Living TG is nothing like people not experiencing it have come to believe or think they understand.

To those of you being snarky and ****ty, quite simply, go **** yourselves. That is all.

Honestly, this whole debate is just stupid.

A lot of the newer stores, however, do have unisex bathrooms, so it probably won't even be an issue. And if someone else has a problem, then they can eat **** and croak.

We have two bathrooms that are clearly unisex bathrooms, meaning that anyone can use either...There's a new one in back that anyone can use, too, so what's the problem? I can see where some stores' bathrooms might be separately identified, but it's not the case everywhere...
