1. Place boxes (if any) to "outline" bag and make it "squared."
2. Fill center with cans and other small items that will not be damaged
3. Finish off with crushables. (i.e. Bread, fruits, bag of chips etc)
frozen cold items should go together with crushables in top such as eggs.
Bag non foods together.
When done with a bag do a test lift to see how it will handle. If the weight is ok, (customers choice on this) make sure it can stand upright on its own. If the bag stands on it's own without collapsing on itself then good job.
Become useful outside of just bagging and cart pulling. Become the person who does trash and cleans bathrooms if you can. The more generally useful you are at all of the tasks you can do, the more leeway you have when something comes up. Not saying to abuse it, but its a good way not to be treated like a mentally deficient child by your supervisor. Its also a good repudiation to have if you want to progress from bagging to a real position like cashier or a department position.
