Morning cashier "given" 2 callouts a week with no consequences

Because she has migraines. So she gets to call out with little or no notice twice a week every week through at least the summer. Strangely enough, she gets the worst migraines on Mondays and Tuesdays. Meanwhile the rest of us get to work double to make up for her not being here. Maybe we should find her doctor and get some migraines...oh wait, we dont have friends in the union like she does.

It's ultimately up to management to discipline her. If they're writing up others for the same thing it can be used against them.

I wish I had an excuse like that! I've been suffering from them for over 10 years and comes with confusion. Oh, and mine can last a whole week.

But alas, I still work through it because unfortunately, regardless of how ****ty I feel, part of being an adult is sucking it up.

If it's a BS excuse, they WILL catch her, so don't worry.

I'm guessing you're young and relatively new to the work force, so here comes a painful truth you're gonna see throughout the rest of your working life:

There have, are, and will always be slackers who get away with anything and everything. And all you will do by making any kind of stink about it is get yourself in trouble. I've seen this exact thing happen dozens of times, and in a variety of occupations.

It sucks, but you better get used to seeing it.

 Yep this person is right,,but don't try it yourself. You will be fired.

I work with people just like that and they can and do get away with it. There is nothing you can do about it.

The worst and fastest growing problem is if you're a white man dealing with 'minorities'. YES I SAID IT. Minority managers will back their bullsh!t, the slackers band together like a reverse work coalition, and as a white man you will absolutely be FIRED----maybe even get into a hate crime and be imprisoned----if you stand up and say or do the wrong thing about it.

Which doesn't take much.
