I have no clue, but all I know is they get suspicious if it's $10 under or over.

lol.

You are thinking too small.  You will make more money panhandling down on the corner during lunch.  You make a penny for every $100 in sales?

Let's pick a busy day.  2400 customers averaging $52 in sales.  8 cashiers including uscan.

1 cashier rings 300 customers.  Times $52 is $15600 times .0001 is a whopping $1.56.

There has to be number crunchers somewhere that will notice the pattern of .0001 missing from your cash drawers every shift.  They will put cameras on you until they see your scam.

You will be fired when caught.  Theft is theft no matter how small.  You might have a police report saved for eternity showing the theft.  Your great, great, great grandkids will talk about you getting fired for skimming $1.56 from Kroger.

I hope he and his family uses the money wisely for a better future.
