Yes you can expect to be pulled to the office any time, that's actually not just a firing offense but a felony. Be lucky if you don't get a record for this.
If you're referring to franking, sometimes the ink ribbon that does that doesn't work or runs out and like one person knows how to change it in the whole store lmao. If you ran it and it went through, it's in the system. You can see the indentations on the back if you look just right.
If you screwed up a date or signature or wrote in green ink or whatever, they'll be irritated but won't talk to you unless it's a pattern, and then it won't be trouble, just someone helping you with wics.
I would tell your manager ASAP that it went through but didn't frank on the back. Do this right away to cover your end. You may get spoken to about not calling for a manager at the time of the incident. Just tell them
