So I'm trying to figure out my paystub. I worked 20.75 hours last week, including Sunday.
I was wondering if the "Sunday Pay" section is just that, for the day Sunday, not any extra pay FOR working on Sunday and the "Regular Earning" is from Monday-Saturday.
It said I had 16.3 hours on Regular Earning and 4.6 on Sunday Pay.
According to my pay stub, Sunday Pay is added into the Total Earnings of the check itself before taxes and does not reflect on hours worked, just gives you extra for Sunday work. So Sunday pay is basically "extra pay"

Sunday pay is for the hours worked on a sunday. The reason it is there is because older contracts had higher wages (overtime hours) as an incentive to work sundays instead of going to church.
