First day as courtesy clerk tomorrow, given little training, help?

I don't know if this is standard at Kroger or what, our orientation tour was basically "this is produce, this is the front end, here's a department leader!" with no details on where things are (like lot duty schedule and supplies, spill cleaner, electric cart chargers, etc). Training was a bunch of online powerpoints with quizzes, an intro to Kroger class, and a class for courtesy clerks. We had one opportunity to use the cart hook thing (already on the carts I might add, just had to pull a rope and release) . We only had one time to practice bagging, and it was with only about 10 items (2 chemicals, 3 produce, and 5 standard grocery items). I feel like my supervisor is going to be pissed at me for making lots of mistakes and being ignorant on where things are. Help!

Welcome to Kroger.

You got more training than the standard.  :)

You will be fine.  You will be trained and learn as you go.

The CSM(customer service manager) will keep tract of your schedule.  It is usually near the service desk and the CSM will let you know when to get carts and when to take a break.

Most Electric carts for customers are parked in the same area near the shopping carts and just plug into the wall.  Charger is built into the cart.

Spill magic is usually found in the bottle room(if you have one), on the bathroom cleaning cart or hanging inside the doors that go into the back employee area.  Supplies are located in the same area in most stores near a utility sink.  You will be trained by another CC so then is the best time to ask questions.  Ask where the cleaning supplies are.  Ask where the grocery bags are kept.  Ask where the receipt rolls are kept.  Ask where the trash goes.  Ask where the bottle bins go when they are full.

If you are this concerned about it before starting, you be do just fine.

Good luck
