Is your store a Marketplace or bare minimum Kroger?
At the current store I work at, Vendors stock all the wine and beer. Night Grocery conditions it per store manager.
There is a Grocery clerk on days that orders and stocks the liquor section. They are supposed to keep it conditioned but night crew keeps that conditioned too per store management. Some stores in the state, they do not let any night employees near the alcohol.
At the previous store I worked at, Kroger had a Wine clerk. I am not sure what he does. Whenever I saw him, he was talking. I am guessing it is his job to stock, condition and help customers pick wines out.
