Been a CC for a month and it's been pretty chill so far.
Pros:
Always on my feet moving from place to place (good change of pace compared to how lazy I was before)
Get to learn new things like how to deal with pests before they become a problem (thieves included)
Have fun in the parking lot at 12:00 PM because managers are too tired to tell you not to (Amigo racing with wet floor signs as track markers )
Get to meet new friends
Free stuff sometimes like donuts or entire meals (sometimes they give you extra if you're nice)
People you've met before and thought you would never see again come to shop where you work sometimes (met my Personal Finance teacher from highschool)
Cons:
Customers are either really disgusting/shameless or friendly/generous, never a balance or an absence of the two
Carts need an upgrade with parts just falling off sometimes
Always seem to be missing key parts of tasks such as large trash bags and lobby dust pans
Trash bags are left in the back until they fall over and the rats tear them open (they seem to be growing in number)
The break room has more flies than the trash area and is overlooked by management because they eat and take breaks in their office
Can't yell at customers for doing annoying things like moving the wet floor signs away from where they should be or dropping something fragile and messy on the ground and walking away without telling anyone
