Can you work at two Krogers at the same time?

I'm tired of only getting 25 to 30 hours. I want full time I've been working at Kroger for over a year and a half. I'm in hour trouble right now because I've been asking for more hours! Can I apply and work at another Kroger across town or no? That way maybe I could get 40 hours a week or more! I only make 7.65 an hour working as a cashier/hbc clerk/ file maintenance.

I don't think you can work at two Krogers at once (and other than lack of hours, why would you want to?). Your safest bet would be to look for another job and if they ask if you want full-time or part-time, tell them up front and pray.

Depends on how desperate they are for help in your area, technically they can have you work in more than one store, they just have to sort it in Kronos so the right store is paying you for those hours worked. The problem is that it still would count towards hours worked so it depends on if they'd want to give you fulltime or not.

I worked with someone a couple years back that did that. He wasn't getting many hours at the store he and I worked at, so he went to a nearby store and asked the store manager there if there was anything he could do there a few days a week. The store manager agreed, and he worked a few days at that store each week. It's unlikely all store managers would agree to something like that, but it doesn't hurt for you to try.

you can but if you get over 48 hours your home store pays the overtime and that pisses them off

I would soooo not recommend working at more than one Kroger at a time. We have a few people that do that at our store currently. And yea, they get super burned out really quickly. I don't think it's a good idea. Best to find another part-time job, or leave Kroger's altogether.
