I work over night grocery and have been getting shorted on my pay constantly to the point that my pay was cut due to "not working enough hours." I work over 40 hours every week without ever being able to take a break because of how overworked the over night shift is. I've talked to management about it repeatedly, but it seems to go in one ear and out the other because it never gets resolved. I was shorted over 300 hundred hours just last year. The union can't really do anything at the store because the store manager just calls the cops to run them out of the store. Do I need to contact OSHA to get my back pay? I'm pretty sure they're violating several state and federal laws by not giving us time to take a break and withholding pay.

The store manager can't kick out union reps, the contract says they have to be allowed in during business hours.

Not taking a break is on you.   Something seems fishy about this

if you were short 300 hours, why would you keep working? Do you look at your paycheck every week?  If the AA or store manager cant fix your time, call the district manager or get the hell out of that store.

If you are using the digital time punch it follows the 7 minute after rule.  If you clock out at 7 after for lunch and clock in at the minute of, you will loose fifteen minutes pay.  You may need to fight for your pay.  The time clock is not friendly to finger injuries.  I've gone back to using the over rides because my paychecks keep getting shorted.  Thank's Kroger.  Your CEO's are more interested in their 1 billion dollar bonuses than theses of us who have to break even every month with a day of vacation pay.
