How many changes can be made to your schedule in one week?

I'm pretty sure it's been answered before already. But I'm asking because although I've only experienced two changes so far this week(one to cover for another co-worker that forgot to request enough days off, so that she could come back from her home town after hosting a Bachelorette party for her friend and get back and be in time for work. And now they are calling me in earlier tomorrow when I was scheduled 6 to 10 to come in at 2 instead. Do to them not properly scheduling enough people once more.(And I haven't called her back as of yet. But I am after I finish this post. Not for them, but solely cause my stress level will be through the roof having to do so much by myself, and in 4 hours that is hardly enough time to get even a good chunk of **** done)).

And after covering for the chick that had to take an extra day off. My one back up manager said my schedule would be find for the rest of the week. But now my other back up manager is back from vacay and she is like "welp, we need ya, regardless of what the other back up manager said". I'm not opposed to working more hours at times, as there is nothing wrong with a bit more cash and hours in my favor. And likely getting me close to a consecutive 12 weeks at full time. But dude, I feel like I've been scheduled all over the place.

Not sure if they are getting like this cause it's getting in the thick of key co-workers having their vacations cropping up left and right. Or they are just gearing me up once more for being called in to cover for folks again as I suddenly have 3 days off next week. After these last few weeks where I only have 2 days off and full time hours. But to say the least, I'm internally feeling off sync a little bit. And definitely not helping any with my off days being scheduled earlier in the week and I can barely catch my breath before going back in.

But yea, curious to know how many times your schedule can flip flop around like this before they finally settle on what your set hours will be for the week?

Read your contract under the scheduling of hours section.  Under my contract, and probably under most others as well, they have until 6PM Saturday to make changes to the schedule for the upcoming week.  Changes after that have to be met with your approval.

Yea that is what I've read here before too. And yet some of my other co-workers actually have had changes made without their permission. So I guess the only difference between me and them is that they do at least give me a courtesy call or ask me before changing things.
