But what would you do, if you overheard 2 co-workers plotting against another worker?

Back story: There is a bit of a bossy chick, I work with(younger than myself and most other employees in the bakery). She isn't a lead, back up, head or any of that. But she tends to direct others on what they should be doing. Even older workers that have been on the job longer than she has. Along with being bossy at times, she decides after she done with slack out for the next day(which I've heard from quite a few peeps, she takes too much time in completing), she'll start cleaning up or taking cardboard. Which is important, but at times, not as important as packaging or labeling particular items for the next day. Even at the insistence, of the bakery back up.

Ironically enough though, she doesn't bug me(aside from when we first met. She called me a bunch of endearments. That felt weird. But that was her thing to do to others as well. And I let it go) all that much. Save for when she tries to deflect some tasks off to me(as I'm typically on closing). Which were expected of her to do, before she left for the day. But overall she's okay to me. I mean we are friendly enough to work together. But not like we are besties. All that being said has led to two of my co-workers talking about going to the store manager about her. And how one wrote up a letter or something about her.

And little I heard today, they were saying something about even getting a talking to, the person would have to sign a write up. To which really has me concerned. As I'm not sure if I should tell said bossy co-worker what is coming her way, as a warning? Or stay the hell out of it? As I'm not particularly loyal to anybody in this situation. But, I feel like, bossy chick shouldn't get a write up for something our DH can handle and not involve the store manager.

What would you do?

Stay out of it.  It doesn't concern you.

Oh dear god welcome to the drama of the bakery department. This petty stuff happens in every bakery department, trust me.

Chances are this person won't even get a write up, what will happen is that management will listen to them b*tch and then tell them not to worry, and that'll be the end of that.

Personally though i'd stay out of this one since you aren't the target and you really aren't friends with this person either.

One more vote for "stay the hell out of it".

Thanks everybody. I was leaning towards staying the hell out of it anyway from the get go. And yet, was trying to figure if something like this were happening to me personally, would I want someone to tell me what's going on or not. But do to me getting a virus or food poisoning I won't be at work now myself for a while. And whatever happens, happens without me being there.
