Do your coworkers have unjustified egos?

Do you have a Kroger co-worker that swears you like them, even though you never utter a peep to them, or they think you like them when you are just nice to everybody. Or they swear that they are God's of the Kroger universe, yet they can barely do the minimum required of their job. Or they feel you must give them attention, or they just know for sure that you want to hang out with them, and will beg them to be their bestest friend forever, and then they are confused when you show no interest in them. What do the ego maniacs do at your store, and how do you destroy them?

This^ and keep on working. Sometimes the best way to shut anything down is by doing what you are supposed to be doing in the first place.

Be honest! Let them know you are there to work, you don't want to be their friend. Let them know that you don't like them. If you do that maybe they'll leave you alone. I know when people let me know they don't like me, I just o on about my work. I might say "Hi", and be nice, but that is because I'm at work and there's customers around. It doesn't mean I like you, it just means I want to work in peace.

I have one that swears every guy in the store likes her. She will actually belittle others, in order to make herself feel better. I just listen to her and say "Oh! Okay!" then think to myself "She is really fooling herself, isn't she?" She also gets very upset the minute she sees the guys giving others attention and not her. The stupidest, but funniest part is the guys are married or taken and the people they speak to are married or taken and this girl is delusional!

that's how i am as well, but these people are crazy, so they will continue to force themselves around you, or even try to include you in their drama, and i'm just like, i don't even like you, or care about you i just said hello because i was in a good mood and decided to be polite this time, but now you are using that as an opportunity to try and pull me into your drama. its so annoying, like, CAN'T YOU TELL I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!
