I think it's a range really for mine between 40 something and 20's or so. What I found amusing though was the fact that the manger that was above my DH at our store(before he got promoted to being a manager over fresh foods or whatever at many different stores in the area), would never believe I was 30 as he was just 27 with a wife and 4 kids. Can't help it that I look young for my age and well he was quite the busy beaver on the family front, lol.
There are a lot of 22+ year old co-managers. They get out school from a 4 year degree and don't know what to do with their useless degree so they start applying for Kroger and other retail management positions. It's not impressive.
With the current District structure, Co-Managers are expected to be 22-27, after that they are thrown into being Store Manager/District Coordinator or like most are doing......Quitting!
our newest store manager is a middle aged man who is slightly balding, so i'm gonna guess late 40s or early 50s. i assume my co manager is in his 30s due to being married. all of the department heads are over 30 years old, except the grocery manager who is 22.
